Wilmer Terrell Wheeler, 64

Wilmer Terrell Wheeler, 64 of Middleburg, FL passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Wilmer was born in Waycross, Georgia to parents Wilmer Wheeler and Yvonne Tuton Wheeler. Wilmer and his wife Judy moved to the clay county area over 30 years ago. Wilmer was a retired Car Inspector for CSX where he worked for 23 years. He loved the trains and would often be heard and seen playing trains with his grandchildren. After retirement Wilmer also enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his family. His daughter said that her dad would call her everyday with tell her about what was in the news and the weather.  He was the heart of his family he cherished them all, especially the grandbabies.

Wilmer was preceded in death by his parents Wilmer Wheeler and Yvonne Tuton Wheeler; brother, Wayne Wheeler; and sister, Kay Wheeler. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy Green Wheeler; son, Christopher T. Wheeler (Mandi); daughter, Danielle Wheeler (Joshua Curtis); grandchildren, Aidan Parker and Autumn Curtis; Nephew, Joshua Cannon (Jenna)

Memorial Services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Brannan Field Baptist Church at 4360 Discovery Dr. Middleburg, FL 32068. Officiating will be Pastor Ken Webb.
