Vanessa Marie Hardway, 36

Vanessa Marie Hardway, 36, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020 in Lakeland, FL. Vanessa was born to Darrell R. Hardway Jr. and Tina Marie Huffman on August 23, 1983 in Portsmouth, VA. She was raised in Newark, OH and later moved to Florida with her family in 1995. Vanessa worked for McDonald’s and became a Team Leader. Vanessa enjoyed playing baseball, softball and bowling, loved her family and would do anything for anyone that needed help. She was also an animal lover that aspired to be a Marine Biologist.

Vanessa is survived by her sons, Jordan Haley, Ean Huffaker and Leighland Huffaker; daughter, Ellia Huffaker; mother, Tina (Glenn Cope) Huffman; father, Darrell (Marie) Hardway; grandmother, Marvetta Hardway; grandparents, Ben and Glenda Cope; sisters, Tonya (Mark) McKinney and Jessica (Tyler) Lightle; step-sisters, Brandie (Tommy) Patrick and Summer Cope; father of Ean, Leighland and Ellia, Josh Huffaker; nieces, Hadley and Avalynn Mckinney; nephew, Rylinn Berry; cousin, Stacey Johnson Gruly; family friend, Janet Reid and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, June 7, 2020 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home.
