Tamra Ann Steinmetz (Tammy) was born on July 22, 1958 and went home to be with the Lord on April 8, 2022 at the age of 63.  Tammy is survived by her children, Megan (Claude) Hurley, John B. Steinmetz, life partner, John K, Steinmetz, her sisters, Debra Ressler, Gloria (Raymond) Dempsey, Lisa Knox Day, Jamie Henry, Wendy Spears, brother, Frank (Tammy) Knox, mother-in-law, Helen Castanien (TuTu), 7 grandchildren, Mackenzie, Amelia, Riley, Dorian, Landon, Mason, and Tiffany, 3 great grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother Corinne E. Whisenhunt and father, Frank J. Knox.

Tammy was devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending every minute with them.  Tammy loved her family and friends along with serving the Lord.  She devoted her life to the children’s ministry for years in different churches.  She always had a special heart for the children.

Tammy’s family wants to personally thank Amanda Robertson, Sharon Wright, and Truth and Love Ministries.

Visitation with the family will be from 5-8:00 PM Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home.  Memorial Services will be held on 3-5:00 PM Saturday, April 23, 2022  at New Beginnings Christian Center at 7020 Ramona Blvd, Jacksonville, FL  32205 with refreshments to follow.
