Steven Bailey, 71

Steven Bailey, 71 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022.  Steven was born in Carlsbad, CA to the late Edward and Gloria Cartee Bailey and remained in California prior to moving to Ashland, Kentucky.  After graduating from high school in Ashland, Steven joined the US Army where he served for four years before being honorably discharged.

Steven met his wife, Bonnie, in Kentucky and they moved to Florida 30 years ago.  After moving to Florida, he worked in Gainesville for the University of Florida and spent 15 years working with Barron Tire in Jacksonville.  Steven will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his son, Bryan Lemaster, and is survived by his wife of 33 years, Bonnie Bailey, daughters, Johnda Bailey and Nichole (John) Turley, son, Charles Lemaster, brother, Dee (Star) Pyke, his “favorite” sister, Connie (Jade) McDonald, brother-in-law, Charles (Connie) Sesher, sister-in-law, Cathy (Michael) Blankenship, and was known as “Paw Paw” to his grandchildren, Amber, Jonathan, Cheyenne, Ella, Braydon and Stephen, and great grandchildren, Gabe, Addie and Gage, Paisley and Beau.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church of Middleburg, FL.
