Samuel Cecil Miller, 75

Samuel Cecil Miller, 75 of Orange Park, FL passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, October 4, 2020.  Sam was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late David Warren and Cecilia Blitch Miller and moved to Orange Park in 1972.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Orange Park and retired as an aircraft mechanist at Jacksonville Naval Air Station.  Over the years, Sam enjoyed traveling the Eastern United States and spending much time in the Smoky Mountains in his RV.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his brother, John Miller and is survived by his wife of 57 years, Muriel Miller, sons and their wives, Stephen (Tammy) Miller and Scott (Lisa) Miller, brother, James Miller, sister, Martha Miller Tomlin, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with burial to follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  Pastor David Tarkington will be officiating.  Visitation with the family will be from 10-11:00 AM on Thursday.
