Rush Kannon Wolf, age 3, of Fleming Island, Florida, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 1, 2024. Rush was born July 2, 2021, in Jacksonville, FL to Rachel and Taylur Wolf.

Rush was pure joy to all who knew him. He was the light of his family’s life, with the cutest laugh, precious blonde curls, and the most angelic smile. Rush was affectionately known as “Bubby” to his family, named by his sister while he was still in his mom’s belly. One of his favorite things to do was take a trip to Publix to ride in the “racecar” cart and get popcorn chicken. He loved being outside, showing everyone his new tricks on his scooter (often even inside of the house) and playing disc golf and other sports with his daddy, big brother, and big sister. He played soccer and lacrosse and was excited to start T-ball this month. He cuddled up with his daddy every night in bed to watch disc golf as he fell asleep. Rush loved playing nerf guns with his big brother—he would get so frustrated when he got shot with a dart but thought it was so funny when he was able to shoot his brother in return. Rush would do whatever his big sister wanted, letting her do his makeup, dress him in her dance clothes and teach him the latest dance routine she came up with. He loved family vacations in the snow, always ready to jump on the snowboard with his daddy. Rush loved music and dancing, asking “Lexa” to play his favorite songs and driving around the neighborhood listening to the radio. He loved wrestling with his dog, Berg, and letting him kiss his face. Rush loved attending preschool at Annunciation Catholic School with all his friends.

Rush was preceded in death by his aunt, Halee Mickey.

Rush is survived by his parents, Rachel and Taylur Wolf; his brother and sister, Kaleb Shearer and Oaklee Wolf; his grandparents, Teresa and Chris Mickey, Renee and Chris Powell, and Dave Wolf; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Middleburg, FL on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Russell Haven of Rest in Green Cove Springs, FL.
