Rosie Mae Centers, 91

Rosie Mae Centers, currently residing in Florida, passed away on June 4, 2019.  She was born on May 17, 1928 in Decherd, TN.  She had just turned 91 and celebrated her birthday surrounded by her family.  She will always be remembered as a sweet and sassy woman who loved the Lord.

Mrs. Centers was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Centers, her son, Johnny Centers and many brothers and sisters and is survived by 5 sons; Jack (Patricia) Centers of Fleming Island, FL, Grover Centers of Fleming Island, FL, Buford Jr. (Doshia) Centers of Austin, IN, Billy (Connie) Centers of Otway, OH, Danny (Teresa) Centers of Viper, KY and by 1 daughter; Edith (Dewey) Campbell of Fleming Island, FL. There are 7 Grandchildren, 3 Step Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 4 Step Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

We are forever grateful to all of our friends and family for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

The family will have a personal time of viewing from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Engle-Bowling Funeral Home located at 301 E. Main St. Hazard, KY.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Roy Caudill officiating.  Burial will follow at Centers Cemetery located on Big Branch in Viper, KY.
