Ronald Wayne Prevatt, 69

Ronald Wayne Prevatt, 69, of Middleburg, FL passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018.  Mr. Prevatt was born in Jacksovnille, FL to the late Bobby and Betty Prevatt.  He spent most of his life between Jacksonville and Middleburg.  He was an avid fan of Popeye’s fried chicken.  He would always make you laugh with his jokes and personality.  His kids describe him as a very giving man, almost to a fault.  He would help anyone at any time.

Mr. Prevatt was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Betty Prevatt; one brother, Harold Prevatt; and one sister, Sheila Hughes.  He is survived by his son, Joe Prevatt; his daughter, Rhonda (Shawn) Smith; two brothers, Gary Prevatt and David Prevatt; two sisters, Barbara Smith and Sharon Sweeney; three grandchildren, JJ Prevatt, Kaylee Smith, and Brooklyn Smith; and many nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his longtime caregiver, Dorothy Henry.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in the chapel at Russell Haven of Rest.  Burial will follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to funeral services.
