Ronald Paz Raif, 51, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Ron was born on October 6, 1969 in Honolulu, HI. He was raised in Jacksonville and graduated from Nathan B. Forrest High School. Ron worked at AJC Logistics LLC as a Senior Carrier Relations Specialist. He moved to Green Cove Springs with his family 6 years ago to enjoy the lake life.
Ron was a son, husband, father, brother, uncle to some, and friend to many. Simple pleasures made him happy. He loved spending time at the soccer field and basketball court cheering for his kids. He also loved spending time on the water with friends and family either surfing, boating, or just hanging out. Ron loved entertaining people. He could always be found grilling ribs, listening to music, and dancing. Ron will always be remembered for his fun loving personality and he will be dearly missed.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Reynerio G. Raif, and sister, Cynthia Raif Seal. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Sommer Kapua’ala, son, Tytus Kapua’ala Raif, daughter, Astrid Kapua’ala Raif, mother Leticia Paz Raif, many nieces and nephews and extended family, who were also cheered for and encouraged by their “Uncle Ron”.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 2, 2021 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 until service time.
