Roger Harold Robinson, 83

Roger Harold Robinson, 83, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Friday, September 22, 2023.  He was born in Ford City, PA to the late Harold and Denise Robinson.  Before moving to Florida over 40 years ago, Roger proudly spent four years in the United States Marine Corps.  He had a lengthy career in finance before his retirement.  Roger, or “Butch” as he was affectionately known by family and close friends, was a strong-willed, honest, warm, and caring man.  He enjoyed playing golf and tennis in his younger days. He was also known to enjoy hunting.  Roger was also good with his hands and spent time woodworking and leather crafting.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Denise; his wife, Sandra Robinson; and his brothers, Jerald Robinson and Gary Robinson.  He is survived by his daughter, Carol Bergeron; and his two sons, Terry Robinson and Ryan (Tonya) Robinson; brother-in-law, Rick Kinworthy; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date.
