Robert (Bob) Eugene Ewing, Jr., 82

Robert (Bob) Eugene Ewing, Jr., 82 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Monday, November 25, 2024.  Robert was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Robert E. and Carolyn Mary Ewing.  After growing up in Louisville, Bob began working for L&N Railroad (currently CSX) and retired after a career of 38 years.  He moved to Lake Asbury 25 years ago from Jacksonville and was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church.  He was known for his generosity to many organizations and was always someone who will give a hand-up to anyone in need.

Mr. Ewing loved his country, was a true American, and served as a poll worker during elections.  He enjoyed travelling, shopping, music, and his family which was his main concern.  He will be dearly missed by many.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Fay Ewing, and is survived by his daughter, Julie Mason, step children, Rhonda Arnold, James Adams, and David Adams, grandchildren, Jacob Courson and Tiffany Courson, step grandchildren, James (Little David) Adams, Michael Arnold, great grandchildren, Mila Courson and Julian Brooks, sister, Mary (Midge) Denton, brother, Ronnie Ewing

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, December 2, 2024 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  A time of visitation will begin at 1:00 PM until services begin.
