Richard “Mark” Boyles, 58 of Lawtey, FL passed away Monday, May 6, 2024 surrounded by his family.  Mark was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Albert and Betty Boyles and graduated from Middleburg High School in the Class of 1983.  After graduation, Mark gained his Contractor’s License and began working with Hygema House Movers, his family’s business established in 1953.  His work ethic was reflected in his quality of work and dedication to doing things correct.  When Mark wasn’t working, he found himself golfing, fishing, and watching horses barrel race.

As Mark’s illness began to advance, he found himself enjoying the simple things in life.  A cup of coffee on the porch with April and visiting with neighbors each afternoon.  Being “Papaw” to his grandchildren and riding them on the tractor and being a “house husband” around the house.  He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, and dear friend.

Mark is survived by his wife, April Boyles, son, Josh (Erin) Skipper, daughter, Emma Boyles, Brothers, Jay (Renee) Boyles and Joey (Mary) Boyles, sister, Donna (Tim) Wray, mother-in-law, Sandra (Bill) Pringle, and granddaughters, Kannyn and Ansleigh.  He was preceded in death by his son, Logan Kelly.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 10, 2024 in Russell Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Baker and Mr. Eric Linton officiating.  A time of visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until services begin at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow in Long Branch Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery, Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2335 Sandridge Road, Green Cove Springs, FL  32043.  Family and friends may share their condolences at: www.RHRFH.com 904-284-7720
