Richard John Brown, 62

Richard John Brown, 62 of Middleburg, FL passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018.  Mr. Brown was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Clay County in 1998 having lived in San Jose, California.  He was a veteran of the US Navy serving in the Vietnam War, retired from Schneider Trucking and was a member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Mr. Brown is survived by his sister, Kristi (Bruce) Husted and brother, William (Melinda) Brown, three nephews, Matthew, Steven, and Jason, and great nieces and nephews, Hannah, Ryan, Makala and Alex.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 29, 2018 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home with Pastor Newlin Schafer officiating.  Burial will be in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery with military honors by the US Navy.  Visitation with the family will be from 10-11:00 AM prior to services on Monday.
