Richard Charles Simpson, 67

Richard Charles “Rich” Simpson, 67 of Middleburg, FL passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019.  Mr. Simpson was born in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late James and Mary Simpson and moved to Boca Raton, FL in 1979.  While living in Boca Raton, Richard was a self employed contractor until his retirement.  He was a resident of Middleburg since July of 2018.  Mr. Simpson enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and spoiling his grandchildren.

Mr. Simpson is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna Simpson, son, Daniel (Cathy) Simpson, daughter Angela (Michael) Dorrel, brothers and sisters, Robert Simpson, Vincent Jaehnert, Scott Jaehnert, Keith Jaehnert, Edward Jaehnert, Emily Wiley, Susan Lown, Mildred Whitely, and Steven Berryann, five grandchildren, Christian, Charles, Dane, Kaylin and Jordan, and one great granddaughter, Alanis.

A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held 2:00-5:00 PM Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Ronnie Van Zant Park in Lake Asbury.
