Peggy Ann Heflin, 76

Peggy Ann Heflin, 76 of Middleburg, FL passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022.  Peggy was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Fredrick Russell and Elizabeth Louise Steadmen.  She moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1977 from Maine, and then to Middleburg 40 years ago.  Over the years, Peggy worked various employment to include ship welding in Bath, Maine in the 1970’s and then had to retire because of health reasons in the 1980s from a rental car company.  Peggy loved her animal pets and nurtured several different types to include a monkey, ferret, and of course dogs, cats, and birds.  She also enjoyed skiing in her earlier years and riding on ATVs.  Peggy will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Heflin was preceded in death by her sons, Charles Adams, Larry Clark and Rusty Adams, and is survived by her husband, Jim Heflin, was beloved mother to her daughter and son, Linda (Gary) Nemec, Ronnie Clark, stepson, Randy Heflin, brothers, Robert and Richard, sisters, Gloria, Carol, Barbara, and Shirley, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on Peggy’s birthday, July 4, 2022 at the family residence.
