Paul Louis Deep, 70

Paul Louis Deep, 70 of Middleburg, FL passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018.  Paul was a multi business owner in Clay County, owning C&L Ace Hardware for 20 plus years in Clay Hill off SR 218, Aerials Steak & Seafood for a few years and was a retired veteran served during the Vietnam War.  Paul was a champion cook, wonderful chef and ran the Ham Jam for several years. He was a true jack of all trade, able to fix anything and had a love to fly his plane and taking several trips to Georgia to see daughters and grandchildren. He was well known and respected in the Clay County community and will be missed by many friends.

Paul was married to Valerie Gail Deep (Skalicky) before she passed in 2005 with breast cancer. He is survived by daughter, Laura Whitehead, her husband Wesley and their children Colton and Kendel, daughter, Aerial Pierce, her husband Caleb and their son Hunter, daughter, Christina Singletary, and her children, Alex, Danny, Damien, Aiden, and Sarah.  Sisters, Sandy Anderson her husband Tom, Dianne Spaven and her husband Gary, Judy Carstensen and her husband Dennis, a dear friend, Liz Morris and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 22, 2018 in Russell Baptist Church of Green Cove Springs, FL with Rev. Rusty Williams officiating.  Visitation with the family will be from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to services in the church.  Burial will be 12:30 PM Tuesday in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with Military Honors.
