Patricia Anne Renau, 79

Patricia Anne Renau, 79 of Orange Park, FL passed away Friday, July 7, 2023.  Patricia was born in Charleston, SC to the late John and Juanita Nolen.  She grew up in Charleston and met her to-be-husband while attending Chircora High School.  After graduation, Richard, her late husband, entered the Navy and after moving to Hawaii, South Carolina, and Missouri, they settled in Orange Park.  While living in Italy, she and her husband both worked aboard the USS Orion.

Throughout her life, Patricia was involved in various charity work. She has been an active member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs for many years as a member of the GFWC Orange Park Woman’s Club, GFWC Jacksonville Beaches Woman’s Club and GFWC Blue Umbrella Cyber Club.  Patricia was the Bylaws Chairman for the Florida State Association of Parliamentarians and was currently the Jennie June Award Co-chair for GFWC Florida.  During the past administration she was the GFWC Florida Bylaws Committee Chairman, was a past Director of GFWC Florida District 4, and was a past President of the GFWC Orange Park Women’s Club.  Patricia has held many other valuable positions at both her club, district and state level and her membership at the Orange Park Chapter and her membership at Hibernia Baptist Church.  Patricia was a generous in giving her time and talents to others and was an example to many.

Mrs. Renau was preceded in death by her husband in 2004 and her brother, Ralph Nolen.  She is survived by her son, Richard Renau, brother, John Nolen, sister, Nita Nolen, granddaughter, Angelique Renau and extended family.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with burial to follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 PM until services begin.
