Nathan David Russow, 34

Nathan David Russow, 34, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023.  Nathan was born in Clearfield, PA. He moved to Florida as a baby and spent the rest of his life here with his parents David Russow and Christa McKay.  Nathan attended Chimney Lakes Elementary School and graduated from Frank H. Peterson High School in 2007.  He also attended Tulsa Welding School and was an excellent welder and hard worker.  Nathan was highly intelligent and enjoyed building and flying gas-powered airplanes. Nathan loved all things related to nature and space.  Nathan loved his family and will be remembered as being a very sweet and caring young man.  Although he faced much adversity throughout his life, he always strived to overcome it and for that we are extremely proud of him.

Nathan was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William Russow, Brent Boldt and David McKay.  He is survived by his mother, Christa Urban (James); father, Dave Russow (Yvonne); sister, Ciara Sweat; brother, Jordan Russow; his very best friend and girlfriend of six years, Brittany Welch, as well as their dog, Stella; grandparents, Linda McKay, Judith Boldt and Joan Russow; stepsisters, Anna Marie Urban (Mari); stepbrothers, Jim Urban (Becky), John Urban, and Joseph Urban; nephews, Joshua and Connor Urban; aunts, Amanda Soukup (Brian), Melissa Stauffenberg (Tom), and Arden Sherrill (Ryan); uncles, David McKay, Jr. (Ann Elkins) and Jim Russow (Patti); as well as cousins, Lauren and Alyssa Russow, Ashley and Alyssa Soukup, Brady, Bodie and Brinkley Stauffenberg, and Ashlin and Seth Sherrill.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11:00am in the chapel at Russell Haven of Rest with Daniel Riddick officiating.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior at 10:00am.  Burial will follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.
