Nancy Jo Coggins, 65

Nancy Jo Coggins, 65, of Middleburg, FL passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019.  Nancy was born June 24, 1954 to Donald W. Beckwith and the late Elma J. Cornelison Beckwith in Olney, Maryland.  She moved to Clay County in 1998 from Jacksonville.  She was known as a firecracker due to her feisty personality.  She was always willing to speak her mind.  You always knew where you stood with her.  Nancy enjoyed shopping on QVC for clothes and jewelry.  She loved her coffee and Pepsi and chatting with her friends on Facebook.  Nancy was loving and caring and had a heart of gold.  She was a homemaker at heart and took care of everyone.  She was a “mom to everyone”.  Nancy loved her grandbabies more than anything.

Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Elma Beckwith; husband, Lyle Jr. Coggins, and her son, Daniel “Boomer” Coggins.  She is survived by her two daughters, Sheree Fife (Chris) and Joann Holvick (Craig); her father, Don Beckwith; stepmother, Joan Beckwith; four brothers, Buddy Beckwith, Don Beckwith, Jr., Mark Beckwith, David Beckwith and stepbrother, Eddie Reindeau; one sister, Trica May; step-daughter, Johnna Taylor; six grandchildren, Daniel Coggins, Jr., Tara Coggins, Christopher Fife II, Haley Fife, Noah Holvick, and Chelsi Coggins; one great-grandson, Royce Ulsh; and her two grand dogs, Stitch and Steve.

Funeral services will be held 10am Friday, January 3, 2020 in the chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home.
