Nancy Henderson Sapp, 80, of Fleming Island, FL passed away January 10, 2025.  She was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Blair and Frances Henderson.  Nancy graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1962 and spent most of her life in northeast Florida. She was happily married to the love of her life Ronald Sapp for over 50 years.  She enjoyed her career as an administrative assistant in the insurance industry, working for companies such as Independent Life and Sedgewick.  Nancy was an avid  Gator fan and  loved taking her granddaughters shopping. She always had a smile on her face.  Nancy loved her church, Calvary Assembly of God, where she participated in many Bible studies, spent countless hours in the jail and prison ministries, as well as her time with her knitting group.  Nancy loved helping people but most of all, Nancy loved her family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Blair Henderson and Frances Pardee Henderson; her husband, Ronald Sapp; brother, Frank Henderson; and sister, Jan Thrower.  She is survived by her two sons, Greg Sapp (Kathy) and Ronnie Sapp (Leslie); two sisters, Mary McCloskey and Beth Maycumber; and six grandchildren who lovingly call her “Nanny”, Blair Sapp (Jackie), Chase Sapp, Danielle Mickla (Rob), Payton Sapp, Victoria Sapp, and Courtney Sapp.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 17, 2025, at 11am at Calvary Assembly of God, 9 Knight Boxx Rd, Orange Park, FL 32065, with Pastor Greg Evans officiating.  Visitation with the family will be at 10:30am, prior to services. Celebration of Life will be held after the service at Town Hall Event Center, 2300 Market Drive, Fleming Island, FL 32003.

Nancy will be will be laid to rest with her husband, Ronald, at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
