Milford Marvin Cartwright, 81

Milford Marvin Cartwright, 81 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Friday, January 15, 2016. Mr. Cartwright was a native of Wirt, New York but has called Clay County his home for most of his life. He was the owner of Brown and Cartwright Ace Hardware in Green Cove Springs for 65 years.   On the farm working was his favorite time, whether working the cows, driving his tractors, knocking down some trees or creating the burn pile. Many good memories and family times, he will be missed.

Mr. Cartwright is survived by his children, Paula (Otto) Johnson and Janice (Ronnie) Zelinka, brother, Donnie (JoAnn) Cartwright, sister, Mildred Smith, seven grandchildren, William, Amanda, Jessica, Sarah, Christopher, Stephan and Joshua, and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Cartwright and the mother of his children, Gladys Cartwright.

Memorial Services and a time for sharing will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest.
