Michael Andrew “Mikey” Burns, 23

Michael Andrew “Mikey” Burns, 23 of Jacksonville, FL passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020.  Michael was born in Terre Haute, Indiana and moved to Middleburg and then Jacksonville over the past years.

Those who knew Michael knew him for being goodhearted.  Whether working on friend’s cars, helping with their IT computer needs, fishing, or just hanging out and listening to music.  He also enjoyed gaming on the computer and in the past riding his BMX bikes.  Michael will be missed by many family and friends; including his dogs, “Bo” and Ruby”.

Mr. Burns is survived by his mother, Betsy Nesbit, father, Michael Burns, brother, Alec Burns, grandparents, Paul and Renee Cox and Amy Cox, and many extended family members in Missouri and Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 27, 2020 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with burial to following in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
