Melody A. Jeffers, 70

Melody A. Jeffers, 70 of Keystone Heights, FL passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022.  Mrs. Jeffers was born in New York and grew up there as well.  She had been a resident of Florida for the past 50 years and was currently living in Keystone Heights for the past 20 years.  Melody was a civil service employee retiring from NAS Jax Naval Hospital with a total of over 20 years service.  She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Keystone Heights, was a Naval Reservist, a care giver for many years and dearly loved her cats.

Mrs. Jeffers is survived by he sons, Michael Susu and Joel Jeffers and many extended family members.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 24, 2022 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with Pastor Scott Stanland officiating.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Charles Jeffers, in Green Pine Cemetery in Yulee, FL.  A time of visitation will be from 10-11:00 AM prior to services. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Safe Animal Shelter, Middleburg, Florida.
