Mauro Alfredo Carrizalez Flores, 46

Mauro was a kind and joyful man, a peacemaker, loving, respectful, responsible, and very hard-working. Words cannot fully capture the incredible human being that God blessed us with. Everyone who knew him cherished his kindness and great sense of humor. He embraced life and utilized the gifts that the Lord bestowed upon him. Born on July 19, 1978, in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Mauro grew up and studied Accounting. He was the son of Germán Carrizalez Martínez and Rosa Flores Flores, and the fifth of six siblings: Rosalba, Blanca Estela, Sandra Violeta, Oscar, and José Germán. Mauro dedicated his life to Christ in 1997 during an evangelistic event and remained steadfast in his faith, exemplifying integrity. When he met Maribel, he knew she was the woman he wanted to marry, and they wed on June 11, 2005. Later that year, on December 3, they emigrated to the USA, where they were blessed with a beautiful son named Daniel David Carrizalez, of whom Mauro was always proud. He was a great teacher of the Bible and a tireless worker for the Lord’s mission, an innate leader who directed the Children’s and Pre-Teens Ministry for many years. In his personal life, he loved camping, grilling, skiing with his son, and spending time with his loving family. Mauro passed away peacefully at home on Monday,  December 2, 2024, at 4:00 in the afternoon. He was surrounded by his wife, sister, dear friends, and listening to the voice of his beloved son, Daniel.

A memorial service will be at 2:30 PM on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Russell Haven of Rest Chapel.  A time of visitation will begin at 2:00PM prior to services.
