Mary Elizabeth Ardis, 97

Mary Elizabeth Ardis, 97, of Fleming Island, FL passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025.  She was born at home in Philadelphia, PA to the late William Charles Parker and Mary Farrell Parker. She was a longtime resident of Palatka, FL where she spent many years as a volunteer, along with her husband Bill, at E.H. Miller School.  Mary recently moved to Fleming Island, FL to be closer to family. 

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, William Ardis; and her brother, William Parker.  She is survived by her two daughters, Gail Ardis and Carol Holmes (Paul); two grandchildren, William Chmelar and Michael Chmelar (Melissa); and two great-grandchildren, Parker Chmelar and Harrison Chmelar.
