Marilyn Touchton Collins, 90

Marilyn Touchton Collins, 90 of Fleming Island, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She was born in Jacksonville to the late John Touchton and Mary Lou Hendry Touchton and was a lifelong Florida resident.  Mrs. Collins retired as an accounting clerk in medical records, enjoyed gardening flowers and being with her friends.  Her faith in Jesus was made stronger through her membership at Hibernia Baptist Church and the various bible studies she frequently attended.  Marilyn will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Sanville and Elura Campbell and two brothers Wayne Touchton and Keith Touchton.  She is survived by her children, Mary Kay (Van) Warner and Timothy Ray (Amy) Collins, brothers, John Harris Touchton and Gordon Touchton, and was “Gran” to her four grandchildren, Valerie Mikell, Brooks Collins, Marshall Collins, and Natalie Collins.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in Hibernia Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Yirka officiating.  Graveside Services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday in Santa Fe Cemetery near Branford, FL with Pastor Nathan Freeman officiating.  Visitation with the family will be from 5-7:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
