Louise Emery Neisius, 98

Louise Emery Neisius, 98 of Fleming Island, FL passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018.  Louise was born on November 28, 1919, in Roseland, Louisiana.  As a young child, she moved, with her family to Pensacola, Florida. She graduated from Pensacola High School in 1937.  In 1941, she married Kenneth Pinney, and they had two children, William (Bill) and Martha Louise. The marriage ended in divorce, and Louise met and married Vincent Neisius in 1945.  They lived in Atlanta, Georgia, where Vince graduated from and taught at   Georgia Tech University.  They had two children, Beverly Jo and William (Bill) Vincent.  Vincent’s long career in Technology and Logistics took them first to New York and then to Los Angeles, California.  While living in Los Angeles, Louise owned and operated a ballet dance studio.  She was active in numerous clubs and associations, holding offices in many of them.  After Vince’s retirement in 1987, they moved back to Atlanta, and began to travel the world.  They visited in all seven continents.  After Vince’s death in 2011, Louise lived in Atlanta until 2014, when she relocated to Fleming Island, Florida to be near her family there.
