Lori Falcone, born on July 1, 1963, to Gobel and Blanche Buchanan, passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 61, after a brave fight with cancer. She grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, graduating from Andrew Jackson High School in 1981.
Lori’s energy and joy for life were undeniable. Her charisma lit up every room she entered, filling it with laughter and warmth. Known for her boundless love and generosity, Lori touched the hearts of all who knew her. She established and managed a successful chiropractic practice that expanded to two locations.
Lori had a genuine smile and was always ready with an answer or a piece of great advice for any problem. She was fiercely loyal to those she loved. Whether it was tackling a difficult chore by your side or joining in on a fun time, she was always there, ready for anything. She had a unique ability to use the wrong word in her descriptions, which left everyone in tears of laughter, and deciphering her meaning became a source of endless fun. Her sharp wit and sense of humor were beloved by all, and people were naturally drawn to her. Even strangers felt compelled to share their personal stories with Lori, as if her warm aura and compassion attracted everyone she met.
Lori was also a woman of deep faith. She believed in God and found peace in knowing that all things are through Him. Her faith was tested in 2015 when she tragically lost her son, Mark Joseph Falcone, but her love for God never wavered. She was proud to share her faith with others, always finding solace in her beliefs. In her later years, she discovered new hobbies, including fishing, traveling and weight training, though she always made time for her original hobby shopping.
A natural leader and delegator, Lori was hands-on in everything she did, balancing a take-charge attitude with warmth and grace. She gave the best advice, the best gifts, and left an impact that will never be forgotten.
Although Lori was surrounded by the love of her family, cancer took her from us too soon. Her passing leaves a deep void in the lives of all who loved her.
Lori is preceded in death by her parents, her son Mark Joseph Falcone, and four of her siblings, Mark Buchanan, Garry Buchanan, Judi Campla and David Buchanan. She is survived by her husband, Mark Falcone, her daughter, Rachel Falcone, her beloved grandchildren, Elijah and Tyra, her siblings, Rosemary Moore and Michael Buchanan as well as endless family and friends.
Lori’s laughter, vibrant spirit, and love will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Until we meet again, Lori, we love you. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
