Linda W. Starling, 75 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024.  Linda was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Clarence and Dorothy “Sally” Willwerth and graduated from Ribault High School.  In 1987, she moved to her home in Green Cove Springs and regularly attended of First Baptist Church Middleburg.   Linda and her late husband, Larry, founded and organized the Wolfson Children’s Hospital Bass Fishing Tournament in Palatka for 20 years and it is still going strong today.  Linda enjoyed going on cruises no matter the destination, but most of all of favorite activity just being “Granny”.

Mrs. Starling was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Starling, her parents, Clarence and Sally Willwerth, and her brothers, Charlie and David Willwerth.  She is survived by her children, Mike (Ronda) Bach and Sheri (Chris) Davis and her stepdaughter, Tracy Starling, her grandchildren, Amber (Jake), Courtney, Kamryn (Jared), Emily, and Kyle, and her great grandson, Will, her sister, Diane (Tandy) Workman, her sisters-in-law, Laurie Willwerth, Pat Willwerth, and Pauline (David) Moncrief, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 6, 2024 at First Baptist Church Middleburg, 2645 Blanding Blvd. Middleburg, FL  32068 with burial in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.  Pastor Chris Davis and Pastor Ralph Estevez will officiate. A time of Visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:00 AM prior to services at the church.
