Linda Ruth Fletcher, 73, of Middleburg, FL passed away Friday, August 16, 2024. Linda was born in Jacksonville, FL to parents Marjorie Lumpkin and Thomas Seidel. She spent her entire life in the northeast Florida area, before moving to Middleburg, Florida with her husband. Linda lived a happy and full life. She enjoyed gardening, volunteering at her church, shopping, giving unsolicited advice, and helping others in any way she could, but most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family. She will be dearly missed by the ones that she loved the most.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Marjorie Lumpkin and Thomas Seidel; and daughter, Andrea Gay.

She is survived by her husband, James Fletcher; sons, Adrian Gay (Cindy), Anthony Gay (Lynette), Wade Gay (Hope); daughter, Amanda Conaghan (Rik); Step-sons, Carl David Fletcher and Paul Curtis Fletcher; step-daughter, Amanda McClellan (Bobby); brother, Tommy Seidel (Donna); sisters, Lynn Seidel and Debbie Seidel Jones; and Soul sister, Sue Lucas; grandchildren, Kyle Gay (Lacey), Amber Gay, Courtney Gay, Tara Ray (Ben), Jordan Gay (Paige), Brandon Gay (Emily), Lanie Pickern, Jayden Conaghan, Skylar Conaghan; step-grandchildren, Layne McClellan, Duncan McClellan, Mandolin McClellan and Jillian McClellan; great-grandchildren, Harlen Ray and Emersyn Belan; and step-great-grandchild, Juniper McClellan.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Middleburg. With Pastor Ralph Estevez officiating. A time of visitation with the family will be from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM, prior to services.  Burial will follow in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.
