Leon “Mossy” Norman, 69

Leon “Mossy” Norman, 69 of Clay Hill, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017. Mr. Norman was a lifelong resident of Clay County and attended the Church of God. Mossy retired after several years from the pulpwood and tree trimming industry and just loved working in the woods.  He will be missed by many friends and family.

Mr. Norman was preceded in death by a brother, George C. Carter and is survived by his children, Kevin Leon Norman, Nancy Michelle Norman and Angela Deon Norman, four brothers, Floyd, Willard, DC and Vivan Norman, three sisters, Minnie Lee Masters, Gertie Padgett and Begonia Austin, and five grandchildren, Hunter, Hannah, Kasie, Tamzen and Rhya.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in the Clay Hill Church of God with Bro. Jeff Crawley officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 10-11:00 AM prior to services at the church. Burial will follow in Long Branch Cemetery.
