Lenora E. Luedtke Pekot, 85

Lenora E. Luedtke Pekot, 85 of Maxville, FL, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 11, 2018.  She was born January 20, 1933, in St. Augustine, FL, daughter of the late Rufus and Ella (Oesterricher) Stratton.  Lenora married Edward Pekot in Pennsylvania on May 9, 1998.  She was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for many years prior to her retirement.

Lenora is survived by her husband, Edward; children:  Terre, Toni, Trina, Bridget, Robin, Beth, Ivy, Ginger, Danita, Thomas, Tonya, and Troy; 36 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren; a brother, Rufus “Bubba” Stratton; and a sister, Celieu Day.

Lenora was preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred H.; and sons, Alfred D. and Jeffrey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:00 AM Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine with Burial to follow in Sampson Cemetery.  Father Martin Ibeh will be officiating.  Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
