Leah Mae Flanigan, 88
Leah Mae Flanigan, 88 of Jacksonville, FL passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019. Mrs. Flanigan was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Robert and Edna Honeyford and moved to Jacksonville in 2012. Prior to living in Jacksonville, Mrs. Flanigan and her late husband, Timothy H. Flanigan, were residents at The Oaks in Deland, FL since 1985. Early in life, Leah was a RN working in a doctor’s office, but after the birth of children, she became a homemaker to her family and a Navy spouse.
Mrs. Flanigan was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Friedline and grandson, Timothy and is survived by her son, Timothy (Joye) Flanigan, Jr., daughter, Terry (Ruben) Alvarado, five grandchildren, Jeremy (Shannon), John (Laura), Evan, Ayden, and Ian, four great grandchildren, Devyn, Lily, Logan and Jacob.
Memorial Services will be held 12:30 PM Monday, August 5, 2019 in Jacksonville, National Cemetery.
