Laura Lee MacDermid, 68

Laura Lee MacDermid, 68 of Middleburg, FL passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022.  Laura was born in Boston, MA to the late Richard B. Cannon and Nancy Woodward Cannon.  She moved to Middleburg five years ago from Hendersonville, NC.

Mrs. MacDermid spent her early years in Williamsville, NY before moving to Maryland.  While living in Maryland, Laura met her husband of 47 years, Robert and together moved to various towns including Jackson, TN before returning to Florida to be near family and be “Gammie” to her grandchildren.

Mrs. MacDermid is survived by her husband, Robert MacDermid, daughter, Drew (Matthew) Schmehl, brother, Douglas Cannon and his family, and two grandchildren, Zoe and Cannon Schmehl.

Services will be held at a later date in Georgia.
