June “Johnny” Shedd, 88

June “Johnny” Shedd, 88 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Monday, May 20, 2024. June was born in Green Cove Springs, Florida to parents Elsie and John Shedd. She lived in multiple cities over the years, including Baltimore and Houston, but ultimately returning to Green Cove Springs to take care of her mother Elsie and her sister Mildred.

June had a successful career in the accounting department of Exxon, which she cherished deeply. Another of her passions was working in her yard, which was her happy place. She was dedicated to her flowers and plants, often being recognized as a perfectionist for her yard, a testament to her love and dedication.

June’s faith in Christ was unwavering, and she walked with the Lord throughout her life. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

June was preceded in death by her father, John Shedd; mother Elsie Altman Shedd; sisters, Mildred Robinson and Felicia Chadwick; brothers, John “Richard” Shedd and James “Jim” R. Shedd.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews, and great -nieces and great-nephews, including Gloria Andrews, James “Calvin” Mixon and Dean Robinson, who were a part of her daily life.

A graveside service will be held at Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 11:00AM.
