Julie Marie Hartzell, 52

Julie Marie Hartzell, 52 of Fleming Island, FL passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020.  Julie was born in Farmington, New Mexico and moved to Florida from Omaha just over two years ago.  She was a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  Julie loved to travel and a few of her favorite places were Las Vegas and the Kahlua Beach Club in Fort Myers where she met life-long friends. She had a flair for interior decorating and was always able to make a house a home.  Julie was a loving wife, daughter, sister, dear friend and “Cat Mommy”.

Julie is survived by her husband of 17 years, Neil Hartzell, step children, Brad and Jessica Hartzell, mother, Arlene Blazek, brother, David (Mary) Blazek, sister, Joy (Paul) Tillema, nieces and nephews, Daniel, Ashley, Aaron, Elijah, and Eva.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, May 17, 2020, in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with Pastor Matt MacNaughton officiating.  Visitation with the family will be from 1-2:00 PM on Sunday.  Burial will be in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.
