Joseph Nils Irvine, 41, of Middleburg, FL passed away Tuesday,  April 9th. Joseph was a lifelong native of Florida and attended Middleburg Elementary School, Tynes Elementary School, Wilkinson Junior High School before graduating from Middleburg High School in 2002. A hardworking man, Joseph owned and operated Irvine Property Services, LLC for 10 years. Joseph, or “Redneck” as his family called him, was a loving, caring, kindhearted “Teddy Bear” with a gentle soul and a good sense of humor. He was a family man who enjoyed being with his wife and children. Joseph was a professional collector of many things – coins, star notes and “junk”, as his family jokingly says. Above all, Joseph was humble, dependable, and kind. 

Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mildred and Harry Nann, Ellen and Thomas Irvine; and two uncles, Peter Nann and Arthur Irvine. He is survived by the love of his life, his loving wife of 9 years, Erin McInerney Irvine; his children who call him “Daddy” – one son, Patrick Irvine; two daughters, Hannah Irvine and Adalynne Irvine; parents, Thomas and Judie Irvine; one brother, Robert Irvine (Christi); four sisters, Marie Smith (Phillip), Suzie Pennington (Timothy), Terrie Irvine, and Elizabeth Newberry (Lee); aunt, Ellen Vignera; second mom, Lori Bowden and her children, Tommy Wayne Bowden and Emily Mosley; 20 nieces and nephews as well as many other extended family members. Joseph will be missed by too many to count.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:00am in the chapel at Russell Haven of Rest with Phillip Smith officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to services at 10:00am. A private family burial will follow.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
