Joseph Enriquez “Pepe” Panganiban, 79

Joseph Enriquez “Pepe” Panganiban, 79 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Monday, October 19, 2020.  Pepe was born in the Manila, Philippines, moved to the United States in 1958 and joined the US Navy to begin a career that spanned over 23 years to include the Vietnam War.  He was proud of his service to his country.  After retiring from the US Navy, Pepe began working for the US Post Office and retired after 24 years.  He never met a stranger and once he met you, you were never forgotten by him.  Fishing, working with his fruit trees and being a devoted father and grandfather were things that described Joseph as a man who many people loved and enjoyed being around.  He will be missed by many.

Mr. Panganiban is survived by his children, Joe Panganiban, Corinna Riles, and Kimberly Ryals, brothers, Julius Panganiban and Augustus Panganiban, sister, Joan Gonzalez, granddaughter, Ashleigh Riles and many extended family members.

Funeral Services will be held 12:30 PM Friday, November 6, 2020 in Jacksonville National Cemetery with US Navy Honors.
