Joseph Blake Sponel, 43

Joseph Blake Sponel, 43, of Orange Park, FL passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021.  Joseph was born in Wurzburg, Germany to parents Cecil and Melissa Sponel.  After living in Germany for the first couple years of his life, along with his family, Joseph returned to the States and lived out his remaining years in Florida and the Clay County area.  Joseph enjoyed playing his Xbox, playing his guitars, watching NASCAR racing and NFL football.  He was very kind and thoughtful and extremely loved by his family and will be missed.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Sponel.  He is survived by his grandfather, Bently Blake Parkerson; mother, Melissa Sponel; sister, Laura Gordon; and nieces, Emma and Caitlyn Gordon.
