Johnny C. Willis, 79, of Middleburg, FL passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021.  Johnny was born in Lenox, GA to the late Lester and Maggie Weeks Willis.  He moved to Clay County from Jacksonville with his family over 50 years ago.  Johnny spent his working years as a truck driver with Winn-Dixie, National Truck Driving School, and Florida Rock.  He enjoyed taking trips with his brothers, taking care of his 1988 Ford F150 (with over 600,000 miles on it), and spending time in his garden.  Johnny loved growing watermelons, peanuts, working with his honeybees, and recently started hydroponic gardening.  He was a relentless Georgia Bulldogs fan.  Johnny had a quiet spirit and a strong love of God. He was a member of the Long Branch Baptist Church for several years and held a special place in his heart for his pastor and church family.  Most of all, family time was what Johnny enjoyed.  His family meant everything to him.
