John Richard Lindstrom, 78

John Richard Lindstrom, 78 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016. Mr. Lindstrom was born in Elmhurst, Illinois and moved to Green Cove Springs 32 years ago from Orange Park.  He retired as a pipefitter plumber and was a member of the Local #130 in Chicago, IL.  Since moving to Florida, he was a member of the Wesconnett Masonic Lodge #297 F&AM.  John enjoyed being with his family and was a Ranger at the Fleming Island Golf Course.

Mr. Lindstrom is survived by his wife of 58 years, Valarie Griffin Lindstrom, children, John Lindstrom, Jr., Dan (Lisa) Lindstrom, and Jeannene (Michel) Perry, two brothers, Jim (Joyce) Lindstrom and Mike (Karla) Lindstrom, sister, Phyllis (Bruce) Greene, was “Papa” to his five grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Justin, Brooke and Nicholas and one great grandson, Brian.
