John Patrick “Pat” Kelly, 85

John Patrick “Pat” Kelly, 85,  of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Friday, June 14, 2024. Pat was born on August 8th,1938 in Sanford, North Carolina to the late Ellis and Sadie Kelly. Upon graduating from Dell School of Medical Technology in Ashville, NC., Pat relocated to Green Cove Springs, FL in 1962.

Throughout his career, Pat worked at Clay Memorial Hospital and was the founder and owner of Clay Medical Services until his retirement. Pat had a passion for golfing, spending time on the water and at the beach, following Florida Gator sports and attending car shows. Pat was a proud owner of numerous vintage hot rods over the years and an active member of St. Augustine Cruisers and WOODs (Worn Out Old Dudes) Car Clubs. Additionally, he was a member of the Freemasons and faithfully attended the Church of Eleven 22 via on-line services.

Pat is survived by his wife, Karen Kelly; son, Tony (Libby) Kelly; Tony’s mother, Sue Kelly; brother, Gene (Faye) Kelly;and his pride and joy grandsons, Maguire Patrick and John Parker Kelly.

While Pat leaves his earthly home and will be dearly missed by his family and friends, they take comfort in knowing he is with his heavenly Father, his sight restored, enjoying the view from the end of the dock.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, June 19th at Russell Haven of Rest from 10:00 – 11:00 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Vision is Priceless, https://visionispriceless.org/donate/
