Jimmy W. “Jay” Truett, 58

Jimmy W. “Jay” Truett, 58 of Middleburg, FL passed away Monday October 8, 2018 at his residence.  Jay was born in Talladega, Alabama and had been living in Clay County for over 25 years.  He was a residential painter by trade until an injury forced him to retire.  Jay enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was known for his quiet personality.

Mr. Truett was preceded in death by his brother, Wade Truett and is survived by his parents, James and Geneva Truett and sister, Tina (Jerald) Arant.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 12, 2018 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Baker officiating.
