Jimmy Max Marsh, 60

Jimmy Max Marsh, 60, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023. Jimmy was born in High Point, NC, to Junior Marsh and the late Virgie King. After graduating from high school, Jimmy enlisted in the US Navy as a corpsman and served in the US Marine Corps 2nd Recon Battalion including several deployments to the Middle East during his thirteen-year career. He was a flooring contractor for more than twenty years and was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting. He loved teaching his sons skills from his trade and hobbies. Jimmy was an active member of Centerpoint Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and ushered. He was a wonderful, hard-working man and will be missed by his family and many friends.

Mr. Marsh was preceded in death by his sons, Cody Marsh and Joshua Marsh and  is survived by his wife Sharon Marsh, sons, Jonathan Marsh, Isaac Marsh, and Lucas Marsh along with his siblings Patty Johnson, Rhonda Basso, Deanna Whitaker, Cleve Marsh and their families.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 17, 2023, at Centerpoint Baptist Church with Pastor Lee Fulenwider officiating. There will be a reception following the service.
