Jimmy Lee Autwell, Jr., 48

Jimmy Lee Autwell, Jr., 48, of Middleburg, FL passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023.  Jimmy was born in Boaz, AL to Teresa Hildreth and the late Jimmy Autwell, Sr.  He spent his childhood between Alabama and North Carolina before moving to Dallas, TX and ultimately, Florida.  Jimmy loved driving fast cars and motorcycles, sometimes too fast.  He was outspoken and always made people laugh.  Jimmy always wanted to help other people.  He was known as Mr. Jimmy or Jimmy Dad to many kids.  Most of all, Jimmy loved being a dad.  Parker and his mom, Jennifer, were his world.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Autwell, Sr.  He is survived by his son, Parker Autwell; daughter, Breanna Autwell; mother, Teresa Hildreth Rittermeyer; four brothers, John McCraw (Tammy), Stephen Autwell (Sissy), Stoney Autwell (Linda) and Phillip Autwell (Doodle); two sisters, Sara King (Robert) and Charity Ann Autwell; two grandchildren, Aspen Autwell and Kaysen Autwell; three godchildren, Hannah Francis, Isaiah Francis, and Wendell Francis; mother of his children, Jennifer Stewart (Lionell); Sophia Stewart and Liam Stewart who lovingly called him “Jimmy Dad”; as well as many other extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 2:00 at The Springs Church Orange Park Campus, 900 Park Ave, Orange Park, FL 32073.  A reception will immediately follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in Jimmy’s memory to the trust fund for Parker J. Autwell at Navy Federal Credit Union (member number 18727139).  Venmo (Jennifer-Stewart-05) or Zelle (904-982-9881) donations will be sent to Navy Federal Credit Union.
