Jean Ann Murray, 72

Jean Ann Murray, 72, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021.  She was born in Savannah, GA to the late Ernestine and Joseph Wallace, Sr.  She spent most of her life in Hialeah, FL before moving to Clay County a year ago.  Jean worked as a security guard at Hialeah High School and was well loved by the faculty and students alike.  She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, word searches, and using her luck with winning lottery tickets.  Jean loved her grandchildren and was very supportive of them.  She spent much time shopping for them as she always knew what they liked.  Jean decorated for all holidays and was very festive.  She dressed up as Mrs. Claus every year for her grandchildren.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Laura Murray; her son, David Murray; two brothers, Ernest Wallace and Joseph Wallace, Jr.; three grandchildren, Emma Mora, Matthew Murray, and Brianna Murray; as well as many nieces and nephews.
