Janine Lamb Highsmith, 55

Janine was born September 25, 1961 in Jacksonville, Florida.  After battling pneumonia and upper respiratory infection for days at UF Health, God wrapped his arms around her, carried her to heaven to be with her husband, grandparents and step-brother on July 1, 2017.  Janine’s family and friends all remember her by her beautiful smile and sweet personality.  She was always happy.  Her greatest passion was for her family.  The thing Janine cherished the most was her daughter, Christian.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wayne Highsmith; step-brother, Philip Cloud III and grandparents. 

Janine is survived by her daughter, Christian Highsmith; father, Roy Lamb, Jr.; Mother, Jaunell Cloud (Philip); sister, Annette Smith (Scott); Sandra Lynch (Sean); brother, William Larry Lamb; two grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and several nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Lenox Avenue Church of God, 3349 Lenox Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32254 with Reverend Eric Burch officiating.  Family would love for all who attend to stay for a luncheon in the reception hall.
