James Walter Norman Jr., 42

James Walter Norman Jr., 42 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Monday, August 14, 2023. James was born in Gastonia, North Carolina where he grew up with parents, Wilhemina and Jack Millwood. He moved to Florida in 2005. In 2008 he met the love of his life Matt and together they shared a life full of love and adventure. He enjoyed estate and yard sales, trips to Disney, traveling, collecting pumpkins, Christmas and photography. James also enjoyed giving back to his community and together with his family they volunteered with several different organizations including Wreaths Across America and Give Kids the World. James was extremely handy and enjoyed remodeling and working on HGTV inspired projects around his home.

James is survived by his husband Matthew Winship; mother Wilhemina; sons, Ian Flores and Sean Flores; brother, Josh Norman (Taylor); sisters, Maria Alexander (Chad) and Jamie Norman.

A Celebration of James’s life will be announced at a later time.
