James Keith O’Steen, 63 of Middleburg, FL passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024. Keith was born in Orange Park to the late Lonnie and Lessie O’Steen and moved to Middleburg in 2005 from Jacksonville. He was a proud graduate of Robert E. Lee Sr. High School in 1978, best high school in Jacksonville, Florida. After a career of over 30 years, he retired from JEA as a dispatcher and had worked prior for the City of Jacksonville before they merged as JEA. He enjoyed taking the back roads when he travelled and riding his motorcycle.
Mr. O’Steen was preceded in death by his nephew that he dearly loved, Kyle Krein, sisters, Anita Floyd and Tootsie Blockover, and is survived by his sister, Denise O’Steen, brother, Bruce O’Steen, several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 26, 2024 at Crosspointe Church in Fleming Island, FL with Dr. Ron Baker and Pastor Dewayne Jowers officiating.
The family asks that those who attend to wear cheerful attire as they celebrate a life well lived.
