Irvin Hiram Belford, Jr. 87 of Middleburg, FL passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his daughter’s residence.  Mr. Belford was born and raised in the Newark/Union New Jersey area.  He was a veteran of the USAF and retired as a bus driver for the New Jersey Transit Corporation after over 36 years of service.  Following his retirement, Irvin moved to Brooksville, FL for 20 years before moving to Middleburg, FL four years ago.  He enjoyed golf, yard work, playing pool, bowling and playing cards.  Mr. Belford will be missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Belford was preceded in death by his wife of over 61 years, Diane Belford and three brothers, Bradley Belford, Bruce Belford, and Curtis Belford, and is survived by his children, Lisa (Jeff) Montcalm, Edward Belford, Stephen (Nancy) Belford, and Thomas (Deborah) Belford, was “Pop Pop” to his 11 grandchildren, Meghann, Robert, Letitia, Stephen, Ryan, Keith, Christopher, Shawn, Kaitlyn, Alexis and Jamie, and 25 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 18, 2022 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest.  He will be laid to rest beside his wife in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.
